Warm-Up Crab Activity for Preschoolers:
Crabs walk in all directions but are most commonly spotted walking sideways. Try it yourself! Shape your hands like crab claws and walk sideways from one side of the room to the other!
How to make a Paper Cup Crab:
1. After you print off your free download template, cut each shape out. You may need to help younger kids with this one! Also, grab a marker and a pair of googly eyes. Flip the cup upside down.
2. Don’t get pinched! Glue the crab claws first near the top of the cup, on either side. Then attach the legs, one pair underneath each claw on the cup.
3. Let’s have all eyes on you and your kiddo by gluing the googly eyes next. Complete the look with a cute smile. Your child can have fun with any expression! TIP: Draw a second face on the back side of the cup!
