🌹Rose
Did you know? A red rose symbolizes love and courage, a yellow rose symbolizes friendship, and a pink rose symbolizes appreciation!
Pipe Cleaner Rose Instructions
1. Materials - as mentioned above, this is one of the more minimalist crafts with two pipe cleaners and a pair of scissors! Depending on what message you want to give to the receiver of this rose, you may want to use a yellow or pink pipe cleaner instead of red. OR make one of each!
2. Cut the green pipe cleaner to smaller size if desired, otherwise - forget the scissors to create a long stemmed flower! Curl the pipe cleaner starting at one end into a swirl. This will become the head of the flower.
3. Next, insert the green pipe cleaner through the inner ring of the flower. Pull halfway through and fold over. One of these ends will be the stem!
4. The opposite of the stem will become the leaf! Bend that end over and around, almost like a loop, however, keep the fold pointed instead of round to give that leaf-like feel. Twist the remaining end around the stem.
5. Shape the head of your rose by placing your thumb inside the center and pull gently the walls up. Feel free to bend and curl some areas to look more like petals. And with that...your rose is complete! A sweet rose for your Romeo or Juliet admirer.
